Doug Forde
Mr. Forde is a Managing Partner of Tax Engineering Associates, LLC, a joint venture of Tax Engineering, LLC and the IBI Group, one of the world’s leading multidisciplinary architectural and engineering firms and a global leader in building and environmental systems design.
Mr. Forde is a career business professional with a background in finance, taxation, the capital markets, mergers and acquisitions. He has held senior level positions in private and public companies, including KPMG Peat Marwick, McGraw-Hill, and Xerox Corporation, and held CEO positions with three entrepreneurial businesses he helped to transition from the private sector to the public sector. Mr. Forde’s list of accomplishments include tax planning for US companies at home and abroad, tax strategies for foreign companies in the United States, and a role in more than 200 mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and corporate divestitures. Over the past 20 years, he has also assisted more than 50 entrepreneurial businesses in their transition from the private sector to the public sector. Mr. Forde is a published author with scores of articles and papers to his credit and a member of the Writers Guild. He has lectured at the college level and holds the title of Visiting Professor at several colleges and universities.
Mr. Forde also served on the board of directors of public and private companies including CeleXx Corporation, Computer Access International, Inc., Virgin Islands Flight Schools, Eastern Caribbean Airways, Inc., Investdev Bank and Trust and several private companies, educational institutions, and civic and philanthropic organizations.
Mr. Forde is a graduate of the University of the Virgin Islands, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Baruch College of the City University of New York, and holds degrees in accounting, finance, and taxation.
